Feel the rain on your skin!

I just realized something today.

Life always hits us with many problems and miseries. We usually get distressed over them and just hope to pass them easily and quick. What we don’t realize is that ‘its not the destination but the journey that counts.’ Unknowingly, on the path to success and freedom from the problem we often learn something new. This new knowledge helps us in many ways and will also aid us in facing other problems in the future.

What I learnt today from one movie was entirely different. There were many different aspects from the film which really made me think deeper and better. One was that sometimes, you cover yourself with a shell up to other peoples expectations, while hiding the ‘real you’ underneath. You have to break that shell, letting people know who you really are. Another was that just because you are different , it does not mean that you can’t stand up and let your voice be heard in the crowd. Anything is possible if you believe you can. And the one that inspired me mostly, be true to yourself. If you’re not truthful to yourself and do not have faith that you can do it, any effort and time put is worthless. You have to try for yourself. It’s only YOU that can do it and not anyone else.

I know trying to change yourself after a long time is a really hard task. But if it’s for your own good, isn’t it worth a try?

It’s just like the lines from that song:

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips!

Drench yourself in words unspoken

Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten!!

An extremely old post of mine, but it’s something that makes me feel good inside 🙂 But there are a lot of mistakes in grammar, and I’ve lost my flow quite a few times Hehe.
